Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is also affecting northern parts of the country.

Mainly dry weather is expected in most districts of the province, while hot in plain areas. However, partly cloudy weather with rain-wind/thunderstorm is likely in Kashmir, Murree, Galliyat and surroundings.Partly cloudy weather with dust rising winds is expected in Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sheikhupura, Potohar region and surrounding areas.

Mainly Hot and dry weather is expected in most districts of the Punjanb, while very hot in plain areas. However, partly cloudy weather with rain-wind/thunderstorm is likely in Kashmir, Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin and Lahore. Wind/duststorm is also expected in Sargodha, Faisalabad, Bahawalnagar, Multan, Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Khanewal, Dera Ghazi Khan and surrounding areas.

Rain wind-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Kashmir. The weather remained hot and dry in all districts of the Punjab province.
