A strong westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist during next 24 to 36 hours.

More rain-windstorm/thunderstorm is expected in Kashmir, Murree, Galliyat, Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Mianwali, Bhakkar and Noor Purr Thal. Isolated hailstorm is also expected during the period while, heavy fall is also likely in Kashmir, Murree and Galliyat. Gusty winds are expected in other districts of the province.

Rain wind-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Kashmir, Islamabad/ Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Jehlum, Chakwal, Mangla, Sialkot, Narowal, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Bahawalnagar, Joharabad, Khanewal, Toba Tek Singh, Multan, Sheikhupura and Kasur districts. while, weather remained dry in all other districts of the Punjab province.
